16th Annual First Team Veterans Day Reception
The 1st Cavalry Division Association in conjunction with the William A. Richardson National Capitol Region Chapter will sponsor a Hospitality Suite and small gift shop from 9-12 November and will host the 16th Annual First Team Veterans Day Reception which will be held on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, at 1830.
Once again, the Association will participate in the 3rd Annual National Veterans Day parade honoring those who took the solemn oath “to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, against all enemies both foreign and domestic.” The parade will take place on 9 November, and will march up the National Parade Routs, Constitution Avenue from the National Archives to the White House. Wreaths will be placed at the World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam Memorials as they are each year on Veterans Day, 11 November. The ceremony conducted at the World War II Memorial begins at 0900, the ceremony at the Vietnam Memorial begins at 1300 hours, and the Korean War Memorial ceremony is at 1500.
